Stock is money sitting on shelves. When you do not know exactly what you have and where it is, you buy an item that already sits in another warehouse, needed items run out, or a stock count reveals a difference with no idea when or why it happened.
We build inventory systems that record every item with its units and codes, and every movement on it: receipts from suppliers, issues, transfers between warehouses, returns and write-offs. The balance of each item in each warehouse is calculated from those movements, so you know it at any moment without waiting for a count.
Each item gets a reorder level, so the system alerts you before it runs out and suggests purchase quantities. During a stock count the actual figures are entered and the difference for each item appears alongside the movement history that explains it.
The system supports barcode scanners to speed up receiving and issuing, with reports on stock value, slow movers and fast movers, and permissions controlling who receives, who issues and who approves transfers.
