Sky Towers hotel management system

A desktop application that runs the Sky Towers hotel: rooms, bookings, guests, payments, cash drawer, expenses and reports. It works without internet and keeps encrypted backups.

Running a hotel in Sudan comes with its own conditions: power and internet can drop at any time, payments are split between cash, the Bankak app and transfers, many guests stay for weeks or months so their payments need careful tracking, and owners want confidence in how things run even when they are not on site.

So we built Sky Towers a desktop application that runs on the reception computers without needing the internet. The room board shows every room's status at a glance: ready, occupied, needs cleaning, under maintenance, or past its checkout time. A new booking takes three clear steps, guest, stay, then payment, and a timeline shows each room's bookings across two weeks.

Every payment is recorded by method, cash, Bankak or transfer, in a stay account statement where nothing is deleted; corrections are made with a clear reversing entry. The cash drawer runs in shifts: an opening balance, receipts and expenses, and an expected balance reconciled at closing, so each shift is handed over with clear figures.

The owner has a dedicated dashboard showing occupancy, revenue, collections, outstanding balances and what needs attention, with reports exported to Excel and PDF. Every user has a defined role and permissions, and the system keeps encrypted backups every six hours on the device, ready to move to an external drive or Google Drive.
