Fighting between js python community and c++

7 min read1

شكلة مدوّرة بين مجتمع C++ وJava ومجتمع Python وJavaScript 🤣🤣🤣

On the topic of programming languages, I stumbled across a HUGE argument between the C++/Java crowd and the JavaScript/Python crowd 😂

The C++ community was absolutely roasting the JavaScript and Python people.

The Java/C++ guys were basically saying that the JS/Python community is just a bunch of people who talk all day and don't actually do any “real” work 😂

They were like:

> “Bro, what even are Python and JavaScript? They're just single-threaded, and everything you do runs line by line. The only nice thing you have is asynchronous programming.” 😂

They genuinely believed that when it comes to serious, heavy-duty work, Python and JavaScript simply can't handle it.

They were like:

Heavy CPU Tasks? ❌ Heavy Computation? ❌ Embedded Systems? ❌ Memory Management? ❌

> “The most they can handle is I/O tasks.” 😂

They even reached the point of saying:

> “Bro, imagine a whole operating system written in JavaScript or Python!”

“Tomorrow you open a program, the program opens a process, the process opens threads, everything gets tangled up, and eventually the whole computer freezes.” 😂

Basically, according to them:

> “This is real men’s work… JavaScript and Python can't handle it!”

And me, Musab Sting, was just sitting there quietly 🤣🤣🤣 laughing to myself.

Then one of the JavaScript guys finally snapped. 😂

He said:

> “You guys are seriously ungrateful!”

“Am I not working on servers and backend now, bro?”

“And that programmer sitting in front of Visual Studio Code right there… isn't VS Code built with Electron and JavaScript?” 😂

Then one of the Java guys told him:

> “Sit down. Just sit down.” 😂

“Should we call our boy C# to beat you in the desktop world?”

“And should we call PHP and its son Laravel to make you hate the entire concept of the web?”

“You're still talking?”

“Should we call WordPress too, so it can take your whole project and build it for you?” 😂

“Then you can tell me you work with it… Go ahead, work by yourself.”

Then he took it even further:

> “You know what? I'll bring Assembly and make it do your job for you, just so you understand what we're talking about.”

“Shut up, I'm just messing around.”

“We're talking about programming systems that operate in critical environments. Do you even understand what we're talking about?” 😂

“Shut your mouth. No Node. No Express.”

From somewhere in the distance…

The Python guy started clapping. 👏😂

He said:

> “Heeey…”

> “And another heeey…”

“Am I not the one sitting here handling data and AI?”

“I'm literally using all of you.”

“And I'm building things with all of you while you're still arguing like this.” 😂

“Almost every model out there uses my libraries, you bunch of outdated dinosaurs. Get out of here, man.” 🥸

“I'll wipe that smug look off your face.” 🥸

Then he continued:

> “You guys made programming unnecessarily difficult for people.”

“Every five minutes it's Memory Management, DSA, pointers, and all sorts of things that make someone close their laptop and walk away.” 😂

“Then when people started using Vibe Coding, you told them: ‘No, no, that's not real programming.’” 😂

“You crushed the motivation of university students. Shame on you.”

“And you, PHP, torturing students with Apache and all that nonsense.”

Suddenly…

Someone from the R community stood up:

> “I hear you talking about Data and acting like you're a big deal, Python?” 😂

“What data are you even talking about, bro?”

“People use you because you make things easier, not because you're some kind of god.” 😂

“Data Cleaning is basically your limit. Now move along!”

💥💥💥

The Python guy was about to stay quiet…

But he couldn't. 😂

He jumped up and said:

> “Guys…”

“Those who know their worth don't need to prove it.”

“I have libraries for practically everything, and I'm used across almost every field.”

“You're using me for everything from Data Science to AI, Automation, Web Development, and Scripting.”

“And then my brother JavaScript, the poor guy you're underestimating…”

“He went abroad and came back with TypeScript.” 😂

“And now he's doing pretty damn well.”

“Input, Output, Web, Server, Desktop, even Mobile.”

“So enough with the philosophical nonsense.”

Then he looked at the C++ guys and said:

> “And by the way, guys… who told you that every piece of software in the world has to be CPU-heavy or involve Embedded Systems?”

“Why does everyone have to hold memory in their own hands?”

“Wasn't our brother Java itself inspired by a lot of things from C++ and made life easier?”

“And your own Microsoft eventually put a garbage collector in C# too, you bunch of contradictory people.” 😂

“And after all that, you're eventually trying to make everything high-level anyway.” 😂

“Enough with the nonsense.”

“I'm over here handling AI and data.”

“JavaScript is handling everything lightweight, fast, and I/O-heavy.”

“And you guys can stay over there playing with your nuclear bombs.” 😂

At that exact moment…

One of the C++ guys stood up, ready to speak.

He was furious, shaking, completely filled with rage, bro. 😂

He opened his mouth…

But then they heard the sound of something HUGE approaching.

No one actually knew what it was.

They just heard the footsteps of a giant.

“Knock… knock… knock… knock… knock… knock…”

Suddenly, everyone looked up…

And they saw PostgreSQL and MongoDB walking in. 😂😂

PostgreSQL said:

> “Guys, calm down…”

“Different opinions don't have to ruin the friendship.”

MongoDB said:

> “Exactly.”

“I'm relational, you're non-relational.”

“But at the end of the day, we all store data.”

“And eventually, all of you come to us.” 😂

Everyone went silent for a moment…

Because, honestly, that made a lot of sense. 😂

Suddenly…

Silence filled the room.

I looked behind me…

And I saw James Gosling walking in. 🤐

Next to him was Brendan Eich. 🤐

And behind them…

🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐 Bjarne Stroustrup.

I said:

> “Oh God…” 😭

Then I thought:

> “That's it…”

Larry Ellison is probably outside.

They were probably going to call me over and ask:

> “Musab, what's your opinion?”

And honestly, I didn't even know whose side I was supposed to take. 😂

Anyway…

I think the REAL argument has just started.

I'm pretty sure this thing is going to get much bigger.

Larry Ellison definitely isn't going to stay quiet.

So I decided to come back tomorrow and see what happens.

As for me…

I'm Musab Ali Abdelrahman, better known as Sting 😂

I love adventures, exploration, and all the behind-the-scenes stuff.

And right now, I'm working as a double agent with:

C++ 🤝 C# 🤝 Java 🤝 Python

And at the same time…

I'm an official spy for TypeScript / JavaScript 😂❤️

Because honestly, I love those guys too, and I'm sticking with them.

But tomorrow's mission doesn't look easy at all. 😂

Because while I was walking away, I spotted a JWT in the middle of everything…

And right in front of the room was a Reverse Proxy…

And from inside, I could hear people talking about a Load Balancer…

So I honestly have no idea which room they're going to send me to. 😂

The main room?

The room next door?

Or the Database room?

Anyway, I'll figure something out.

I'll set up a Forward Proxy, hijack one of their machines, and sneak my way inside. 😂

But God knows what's going to happen…

Wish me luck.

And the gossip isn't over yet…

I'll be back tomorrow with all the details. 😂🔥

And if you don't want to miss the rest of the argument…

Hit Like ❤️ Share 🔄 And tag your programming-language-obsessed friends. 😂

See you tomorrow…

Let's see where this whole argument ends. 😂🔥
